Course Outline Prerequisites: - This course shall have no formal pre-requisite. However, the student should have been designated a competent person for this supervisory level of training.
Course Objective: Confined Space Entry Supervisor training is intended for individuals who will be supervising employees designated to work inside confined spaces or employees acting as a confined space attendant. Supervisors need to know the hazards associated with confined spaces, be aware of control measures, and know when and how to evacuate a confined space when problems arise. - To provide Supervisors assigned to manage confined space entry/attendant employees the necessary skills to safely perform their jobs.
- To provide students with recommended practices and guidelines to perform safely while working within confined spaces and allied supervisory considerations.
- Students will be given the knowledge and taught these skills in a classroom and practical setting.
- Students should be able to demonstrate these necessary skills during practical examination and demonstrate knowledge during written examination.

Permit and Permit components Examination Simulated Permit / Entry Practical Session: Practical training shall be limited to (10) students per class before a second instructor is added and shall be documented using the Confined Space Practical Checklist. Students shall be placed in teams of two when demonstrating skills. - The ability to wear appropriate PPE during practical session.
